Sister Monica Teahen

Born 1932
Current status: Researching · living-status and impact checks required

Monica Teahen was born at Temuka in 1932, the daughter of Dennis Patrick Teahen and Letitia Teahen, née Brophy. She left school at fifteen, worked in hairdressing in Timaru and began nursing training in 1951. Her life was recorded in an oral-history interview held by the National Library.

The public catalogue does not provide enough information about her later nursing, religious or community work to establish her impact. Because she may still be living, publication also requires care over privacy, current status and the use of personal information.
